Who operates ZapSite
ZapSite AI is an Australian software product operated by Ali Saleh, an Australian sole trader (ABN 62 784 011 060). This policy covers visitors to zapsiteai.com, users of ZapSite Studio, and people who submit enquiries through customer websites hosted by ZapSite.
Customer website owners are responsible for their own privacy notices and lawful collection practices. Contact us at hello@zapsiteai.com.
Information we handle
Depending on how you use ZapSite, we may handle:
- account email addresses and authentication records;
- business descriptions, prompts, website drafts, uploaded images, forms, domains, and published content;
- names, contact details, and messages submitted through customer website enquiry forms;
- Link and Stripe customer, payment, and subscription identifiers and billing status—but not complete card numbers;
- support messages, operational and security events, rate-limit records, device and browser information, and website usage data;
- cookies and browser storage used for authentication, draft recovery, preferences, analytics, advertising measurement, and abuse prevention.
Do not put confidential, highly sensitive, or unnecessary personal information into prompts or standard enquiry forms.
Why we use it
We use information to authenticate users; generate, store, edit, preview, and host websites; process enquiries and show them to website owners; manage plans and domains; provide support; measure and improve our websites and marketing; prevent abuse; protect security; maintain reliability; and meet legal obligations.
AI and stock media
Business descriptions, prompts, draft content, and relevant context may be processed by Google Gemini to generate or revise website text. ZapSite does not generate website images with AI at launch. Images provided by ZapSite are sourced from stock-media providers such as Pexels and Openverse, while customers may upload their own images. AI output and stock-media search results can be unsuitable or inaccurate, so customers must review all content before publishing.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use service providers including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and authentication, Link and Stripe for payments, Google Gemini for AI processing, Pexels and Openverse for stock media, Sentry for error monitoring, and PostHog, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel for product, website, and advertising measurement.
These providers may process information in Australia, the United States, and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Their locations and practices can change over time.
Payments
Eligible purchases are sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments. Link acts as merchant of record and handles payment details, transaction support, fraud prevention, and applicable indirect-tax calculation and remittance. ZapSite receives payment and subscription identifiers and status information needed to provide paid features, but does not receive complete card numbers.
Retention and deletion
Account, website, and enquiry information is generally kept while the account remains active. You can request account deletion by emailing hello@zapsiteai.com. We will delete the account and associated information under our control, including Supabase-hosted website and enquiry data.
Some information may remain for a limited time in provider backups, caches, security logs, or where retention is reasonably required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, taxation, or other legal obligations. Link and Stripe may retain transaction records under their own legal obligations and policies.
Access, correction, and complaints
Email hello@zapsiteai.com to request access to or correction of personal information we control, request account deletion, or raise a privacy complaint. We may need to verify your identity and will explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfil a request. You may also be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security and changes
We use reasonable operational and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Send suspected security issues to hello@zapsiteai.com. We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change and will publish the updated version and effective date here.
